Research Related Agreements
A Research Related Agreement (“RRA”) is a contract between Stanford and one or more non-Stanford entities that governs the conduct of a non-sponsored research project or set of non-sponsored research activities. Data use agreements (DUAs), collaboration agreements, consortium agreements, and non-sponsored subawards all fall into the RRA category, whereas sponsored research agreements do not. Send general inquiries or non-sponsored agreement documents (DUAs, collaborations, consortium agreements, amendments, etc.) to the OSR Intake email for reviewing and processing.
To request changes to an existing RRA, submit a SeRA Central Office Request form, which can be used to add an additional site, change an end date, change the PI or other personnel, update the statement of work or research program, update or add a dataset, or to request some other change to the RRA.
